Schools

We offer community coaching for local schools. Our (minimum Level 2 qualified) coaches can deliver multi-skills sessions as part of lunchtime provision or after school clubs. We can also deliver PE lessons as part of the school curriculum. Our coaches are all first aid trained and hold enhanced DBS. We aim to provide and promote a healthier lifestyle to all our beneficiaries, ensuring that an inclusive environment is developed whilst promoting the benefit of sports and in particular football. We ensure all sessions are fun and enjoyable to all who participate.

Over the last 2 years, we have been working in Canon Johnson Primary School and now manage and facilitate their school football team. Speaking about the work of the community coaches from the Curzon Ashton Community Foundation, headteacher Mark Bidgood said :

The Foundation has provided some excellent support for our school. The coaches are of very high quality and they engage the pupils extremely well. The uptake of sports at our school has increased since we have been working with the foundation and now more pupils are accessing sport and enjoying it.”
