Curzon Ashton Community Foundation are delighted to announnce that we are launching two new initiatives, Military Veterans Walking Football & CACF NAAFI Break.
Military Veterans Walking Football will take place every Monday on the 3G pitch at the Tameside Stadium. This session is available to all serving personnel as well as those that are veterans and have left the forces.
Walking football is a slow-paced version aimed at anyone over the age of 50, it is designed to help people keep an active lifestyle despite their age, as well as getting those back playing football who may have had to stop due to injury.
The session is aimed at those 50 and above and will start on Monday 5th October, 11am - 12 noon. There will be a £3 charge for each session.
CACF NAAFI (Navy, Army & Air Force Institutes) Break will take place every Monday evening (19.30-21.00) & Tuesday morning (9.30-11) at the Tameside Stadium from Tuesday, October 6.
