Armed Forces Development Officer, Isaac Keast:
'I want to make Curzon Ashton Community Foundation the social hub for still serving, reservists, veterans and family members of the Armed Forces Community.
My late stepdad was a Sergeant Major and I spent many school holidays at several different barracks. I have always wanted to support the Armed Forces and help out where I can.
The older I got, the more opportunities I got and I helped start the Curzon Ashton Militarly Football team in 2017 which then drove me to try and do this fulltime.
From August 2020 I became the Military Veterans Development Officer for Curzon Ashton Community Foundation.
My personal goal is to make Curzon Ashton the social hub of Tameside for the Armed Forces community. Physical programs, social groups, support, we are trying to accommodate everything.'
